Krzysztof Kieslowski is one of the best-known contemporary Polish filmmaker and one of the most popular European directors, internationally renowned for his “Decalogue”, “The double life of Veronique”, “Three Colours” trilogy : “Blue”, “White”, “Red”, and more. Most of his movies includes beautiful piece of music from very known Polish composers as Preisner or Kilar. See the Wiki page about Kieslowski
Wojciech Kilar is a contemporary Polish Composer. Borned in Lwów (now in Ukraine), he composed both classical and film music. He has been a very prolific artist, writing music for more than 30 movies (Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Truman Show, The Pianist,…). He colaborate many times with Kieslowski.
