Event is organized by association Białoruska Alternatywa gathering Poles and Belarusians in Krakow with aim to promote belarusian culture and idea of freedom for Belarus (ironically, just recently, some independent journalists have been imprisoned in Belarus)

The Misteria Paschalia Festival

23-24 Mar

Besides Misteria Paschalia festival there won’t be much happening in Krakow. The rhythm on the town will be changed completely. Empty streets, most of the venues and all of the shops will be closed on the Easter Sunday and most likely on Monday as well so you should make a supply. One might be interested in joining people who attend Easter Masses they usually start at 6am. On Monday don’t be surprised if you’d seen pouring water in each other on the streets, it is an old Polish custom….it is called Śmingus Dingus beware.

Misteria Paschalia Festival

So after a good Krupnik (once again) I ve tried something new that we finaly called with a spanish name. Well, in fact have to say that Christopher found the name. Think it s a good one. So to thank this guest I will translate my first recipe.

Huevos Rancheros Especiales

time of cooking : 45 min.

for 6 people

• 3 potatoes
• 2 onions
• 1 garlic
• 1 red pepper (sweet one)
• 5 eggs
• cream and parmesano
• parsel and fresh herbs as you like
• cury

cook onions, garlic and pepper in oil during 15 minutes.
cut and cook potatoes in water during the same time.
put potatoes with the onions (without the water of course!)
add cury and cook again during 15 minutes.
mix cream with eggs and parmesano.
add this to the rest of the preparation.
cook during 10 minutes
add fresh herbs and it s done !
